Provides airplane-based information about runway surface conditions to assess weight and stopping distance limitations for takeoff and landing
The Solution
The system makes use of data management capabilities of modern aircraft and a proprietary program function enabling an objective assessment of aircraft stopping ability on slippery runways.
By crowd sourcing data from aircraft, updated information is continuously transmitted wirelessly to a cloud-based server for distribution and integration with flight operational tools, such as flight following software used by flight dispatchers operations control centers and Electronic Flight Bags used by pilots.
